Alban Way Map

During 2003 we created the Alban Way map to raise awareness of the 6.5 mile off-road route linking St Albans with Hatfield.

It has been produced with help from many STACC members, and utilises GPS satelite navigation technology to produce the most up-to-date map, designed with the cyclist in mind, and free from © issues associated with designing a map based on another mapmakers survey.

The map was printed in March 2003 to coincide with the opening of the Alban Way / Camp Road bridge, which improves the safety of a particularly difficult road crossing.

A revised version was printed in 2005.

The map is available from all regular local outlets in St Albans & Hatfield: Tourist information, libraries, cycle shops etc.

Alternatively feel free to download a copy and send your comments / suggestions for improvements, for future printed / online versions.

Also contact us if you would like a copy / copies of the printed map sent to you.

Many thanks

Stephen Wragg / STACC Mapping Team
